What are Segments?

Segmentation is a technique that helps businesses to better understand their customers by grouping them based on shared characteristics or behaviour. By dividing customers into smaller, more specific groups, businesses can tailor their marketing efforts and product offerings to better meet the needs and preferences of each group.

Segmentation module by enabling this powerful feature within our loyalty program. Segmentation allows you to automatically group members based on their transactional behaviors and demographic information, creating targeted audience segments for marketing initiatives.

Segments help businesses in the following ways:

  1. Improved Targeting: With the ability to create custom segments based on specific criteria, businesses can more effectively target their loyalty program promotions and campaigns to the right customers.
  2. Increased personalisation: By creating segments based on customer data such as purchase history, demographics, and behaviour , businesses can deliver more personalised experiences to their customers.

Accessing Segment

To access the Segments module, navigate to Engage > Use drop-down to select "Segments".

Here you can see the list of all your segments.

A program comes with 4 default segments, these are:

  1. Members who joined in the last 30 days
  2. Suspended or blocked
  3. Members who purchased at least once
  4. Members who never purchased
