What is the Communication Module in Loyalife?
The communication module is part of Engage. It is a critical component that enables businesses to engage with their customers e๏ฌectively. It facilitates communication with customers through various channels, such as email, SMS, and messaging apps.
The communication module supports two modes of communication, including:
- Email: Sending messages via email.
- SMS: Sending text messages to mobile devices.
What are communication events?
Communication templates are linked to events within the loyalty platform. Events trigger specific actions, such as sending a birthday message when a customer's birthday is detected or sending bonus points when a customer makes a purchase. Communication templates define the content and format of these messages.
Example 1 of communication template for the airline business
Loyalty Program Welcome Email:
- Template Type: Promotional
- Channel: Email
- Content: A warm welcome message to new loyalty program members. It includes an overview of program benefits, earning opportunities, and a personalized membership card.
Example 2 of communication template for the airline business
Milestone Achievement Email:
- Template Type: Promotional
- Channel: Email
- Content: An email congratulating members on reaching a loyalty milestone (e.g., 50,000 miles flown) and o๏ฌering a special reward, such as bonus miles or a free lounge
What are different permissions for communication?
Communication permissions in user access management control who can perform actions related
to communication templates. These permissions include:
- View: Users can view communication templates.
- Edit: Users can view, and modify communication templates.
- Create: Users can view, modify, create & delete new communication templates.
